ABOUT ME
LAUREN STRENKOWSKI is a proud creative writer from New Jersey. Her love of writing sparked from The American Girls Premiere, a PC game that allowed her to discover the magic of creating original stories and that making people say funny things was her jam,

While studying at Rowan for writing, film, and television, her short story "Alienated" was published in an issue of Youth Imagination.

After graduating with two degrees under her belt, she kept up her comedic pursuits with the Sketch Comedy program at UCBNY.

Lauren draws inspiration from her life and the world around her. She's seen a lot of characters over the years, having worked at Disney World and as an usher on Broadway.

Lauren likes to write “comedy for everyone” in her pilots and features. She has a passion for family sitcoms and I Love Lucy is one of her favorite shows of all time.

Recently she has been working on short films and a web series for Urban Planet Pictures. As for her own projects, she is currently polishing her sample portfolio.

Outside of writing, Lauren is also interested in pilates, singing, dancing, anime, and video games. She believes that making yourself laugh is the first step to happiness.
